Introduction

My name is Dave Vance and I am seeking sponsors to help with my 2010 racing season. I have been a resident of Waxahachie since 1994 and raced my first season at 85 Speedway in 2008 in the Cruiser division as #80.

I have outlined my racing achievements and benefits to sponsors below. I have also included information about 85 Speedway. You can view my photographs, videos and detailed stats on this website.

2009 Achievements

Finished fourth in overall points for the entire season at 85 Speedway in Ennis, TX with:

• Seven heat race wins
• Four feature race wins
• Seven top five feature race wins (excluding the four feature race wins)

I made 21 of the 21 race nights during the regular season from March 21 to September 27.

2008 Achievements

Finished fifth in overall points for the entire season at 85 Speedway in Ennis, TX with:

• Three heat race wins
• One top two feature finish
• Four top five feature finishes (excluding the top two feature finish)
• Eight top ten feature finishes (excluding the top two and five feature finishes)

I was one of two rookies that finished the season in the top ten.

I made 25 of the 27 race nights during the season from March 15, 2008 through September 27, 2008, with our end-of-year Black and Gold Shootout on October 18, 2008.

I began building the car in September 2007 without help from racing or mechanic shops. I funded the building, all repairs, and racing fees in 2008 with very little financial assistance.

Sponsorship Opportunity

I am seeking sponsors that can help with any of the racing expenses below. If you can help with one item or a portion of an item, that is of great benefit and will be greatly appreciated.

• Weekly pit fees
  • $25 weekly ($675 entire season)
• Weekly fuel consumption for the racecar
  • $20 weekly ($540 entire season)
• Weekly fuel for towing the car to the track
  • $25 weekly ($675 entire season)
• Repairs and maintenance to the racecar
  • Averages $1,000 per season without any major catastrophes
• Racing Floor Jack
  • $180
• Spare Engine (Chevy 350)
  • Ranges from $500 to $800
• Spare Transmission (T-350 short tail)
  • Ranges from $150 to $300
• Trailer (currently borrowing one)
  • Approximately $1,000 used

Corporate Exposure

Your sponsorship can include many avenues of exposure:

• Prominent placement of your company name and telephone number painted on the car seen by all fans, track officials, and other racers at the track every weekend. Your sponsorship ad is also seen while hauling the car to and from the track between Waxahachie and Ennis. Additional items can be painted on the car, including your logo.

• Announcement of your company name by the track announcer at various intervals during the race.

• Announcement of your company name by the track announcer when finishing a race in the top four.

• Photographs taken of the car and driver by track photographers of the feature winner.

• Distribution of your flyers and other promotional material to other drivers and fans while in the pits at the track.

• I will wear your cap and/or t-shirt at the track, which will be visible when not wearing my helmet or fire suit.

• Word of mouth mentions by me to fans of your sponsorship, mentions on my racing website (DaveVanceRacing.com), and mentions on my social networking profiles.

• Arrangements can be made to display the car at your location with me present to answer questions.

• I will provide you photographs as well as my racing results throughout the racing season.

85 Speedway is a 1/4 mile dirt oval track, was opened in 1985, and is currently owned by Roger Archer.

Season begins mid March and lasts through October.
